The Champs Commemorate their Title with Championship Designs

Inaugural Gridiron Bowl Champions, the Arizona Eagles, have released some new designs to commemorate their championship. The Eagles were one of the better teams going through the 2021 season, and capped off a great year with a Gridiron Bowl win against the now relocated Norfolk Commanders.

The Eagles have unveiled two new logos for use on Championship gear, and for their week 1 matchup to kickoff the 2022 GSL season against the San Antonio Texans, February 17th.

The team championship logo will be used as a patch for the Eagles week 1 matchup, as well as being painted on the field for that game.

Another logo features the Eagles primary logo, with a crown on the head of the Eagle, asserting the team’s dominance over the rest of the league. This logo will be used at midfield for their week 1 game. The expected uniform and field designs for week 1 are shown below.

With the release of the new logos, the owner of the Eagles had the following to add, “We just wanted to have a little fun and create special logos proclaiming us the defending champs. We figured, how often will we get to win the Gridiron Bowl? So we might as well make the most of it, while at the same time we want to close the book on last season and look ahead to defending our title this season. This is a special group and we're blessed to play in a city with an amazing community that has really rallied around this team; we hope to sustain much success here and do some amazing things in the years to come. Go Eagles! Spread the wings!”

The new Championship designs won’t be the only changes to the Eagles in the upcoming 2022 season. The Eagles have also made some minor uniform and field adjustments for next season, as well as adding a new, special uniform set, which is to be revealed in the week leading up to their Sunday Night matchup at home against the Miami Sol in Week 15.
